Thank you for your interest in A Driving School. We look forward to the possibility of seeing you in one of our Traffic Safety Education courses.

Below you will find our course schedule, fees, and all of the other information you need to learn how to drive with A Driving School.

CLASS SCHEDULE
All of our Traffic Safety Education classes are held on Mondays, Tuesdays, & Thursdays. Each class is two hours long with two classes available on each scheduled day.

(*) indicates no class on Thanksgiving and no class from 12/22/08-1/2/09 for Winter Break. As a result, a few class sessions will also be held on a Wednesday evening. Instructor will provide modified calendar of dates.

COURSE FEE
$335.00 if paid in-full by cash or check at the time of registration.
$355.00 if paying by Credit Card or using our payment plan of $225 down with balance paid in-full by the fourth week of course.  


 The 5-week course includes:

bullet3 sessions per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday).
bulletclassroom sessions are two hours each.
bullet6 behind-the-wheel (BTW) sessions.
bullet1 in-car observation.

 

DRIVE FEES
We also offer driving only training (no classroom) to those who:
bullethave missed a scheduled class drive and couldn't make it up.
bullethaven't driven for a while
bulletare out of state
bulletare out of country
bulletneed to brush up their skills.
bulletWould like specialized instruction like:
bulletdriving in inclement weather
bulletdriving in traffic

SAFE DRIVING TIP

In freezing weather Watch for danger spots. Bridges and overpasses may freeze before the roads do. 

SAFE DRIVING TIP

When driving on slippery surfaces like ice or snow use gentle pressure on the accelerator pedal when starting. If your wheels start to spin, let up on the accelerator until traction returns. 

WINTER DRIVING

Try to avoid going up a hill right behind another car. If it loses traction and starts to slow down, you're licked, too. When approaching a hill, follow the other car at a significant distance and then pick your own pace and maintain it. Inertia is your friend while going up a hill with poor traction.

An AAA study confirms the advice we give. Teens have 20% less accidents when they drive without passengers, have parental involvement, and follow the restrictions of their graduated license during the first six months of having their licenses.
