Welcome to A Driving School
of Gig Harbor.
We are the second oldest driving school in the state and the
oldest driving school on the Kitsap & Gig Harbor Peninsulas. A Driving School of Gig Harbor is owned and operated by local college certified
instructors. We have been teaching
our friends & neighbors how to drive since 1946.
Although all driving schools are licensed by the
Department of Licensing. they are NOT all alike. The different types of
courses that they offer, the level of experience that their instructors
have, the cost and availability of their courses, vary greatly from one
school to the next.
How are we different? It's our
instructors.
Our instructors are teachers first and foremost. They know how to
create atmospheres that will promote persistent effort and favorable
attitudes toward learning. Our classroom sizes coupled with interesting
visual aids, such as computer presentations, slide shows, and videos all
presented on a large screen projector motivate learners by
capturing their attention and curiosity.
Bottom line is that we promote and provide an
environment that not only teaches you how to drive, but teaches you how
to drive well and safely. This strategy has been our success for
over 50 years with both teens and adults.
